CARLOS PERONA


Nacido en 1973, su pasión por este mundo comienza desde muy niño influenciado por la música de los primeros ep..s de Jean Michel Jarre “creo que la primera canción de música electrónica que he escuchado fue MAGNETIC FIELDS”. Esa pasión se vio culminada cuando a finales de 1989 y con tan solo 15 años recién cumplidos coge los mandos de la que sería su primera residencia en la sala STRESS donde comenzóa mezclar con ritmos soul, funky y un sonido que estaba pegando muy fuerte llamado EBM con influencias de Krafwert, Nizzer Ebb, Front 242, o Split Second. Pasan los años y adquiere una mayor experiencia, pasa por varias salas de Madrid como TEMPLO o NBQ y por diversas raves y fiestas privadas pero Carlos es inquieto y siempre quiere ampliar horizontes. Tal inquietud le permite la oportunidad en 1994 de trasladarse a Salamanca y ser el residente de una de las salas más importantes del país en dicha fecha “PACHA” donde imparte sesiones magistrales que se convirtieron en una gran referencia de la noche de Castilla y León. Poco tiempo después de llegar a PACHA comienza a realizar una fiesta mensual los domingos de matinal la cual se convierte en una auténtica revolución en aquella época y es un reclamo para gente de todos los lugares de España e incluso de Portugal y en la cual actúan artistas de la talla de Cristian Varela, Oscar Mulero, Ike, Makoki, Pascal Kleiman o Master Bon-Z. Los sets de Carlos Perona han sonado en salas tan importantes como ATTICA, CONSULADO, FABRIK, LIQUID, CIRCUS, HEBE, CUBIKO, ZEUS, CAMELOT, CENTRO 2(Portugal) y por supuesto NAO (Quismondo-Toledo) de donde es residente de las sesiones TRAVEL HOUSE y BASICO@NAO. En sus sesiones prevalecen los sonidos electrénicos, tech-house, electro/minimal house y progressive house con algún toque techno. En sesión crea una perfecta conexión con el público basándose en una técnica muy depurada, ya que es uno de los pocos dj..s house que utiliza tres platos, y en una buena selección musical. En 2001 comienza su andadura en la radio, una de sus grandes pasiones, de la mano de dj Nano colaborando una vez a la semana en su programa “ONE MOMENT IN THE SKY” realizando un top ten y sesiones en directo. Gracias a dicha colaboración con dj Nano, es contratado por Anclas Productions para, junto a su compañero y amigo dj Bee, dirigir y presentar todos los domingos “HOUSE TIME” (The Seven Day-Loca fm-Madrid), programa de cuatro horas con el mejor House, dj’s invitados, entrevistas y sesiones en directo. A su vez, en 2003 sigue su andadura en la radio colaborando todos los lunes con Abel the kid y Raúl Ortiz en el programa “Welcome to the Weekend”(Loca fm) realizando sesiones en directo. Actualmente y desde mediados de 2004 dirige y presenta todos los Sábados de 10:00 a 12:00 “EL AFTER DE LOCA FM”, uno de los programas especializados en Electronic-House más importantes de la radio nacional por donde han pasado artistas de la talla de Tony Méndez, Julian Poker, Luixmi o Dj Bee y en el cual además de realizar entrevistas y sesiones en directo se intenta promocionar a los nuevos dj..s y productores nacionales. En 2004 comienza a realizar sus primeras producciones y en junio de 2005 sale al mercado su éxito más rotundo “EXPAND THE WORLD”(Carlos Perona vs Submission – BLACK SUN records 005), vinilo pinchado en todo el mundo que entró en el top 10 de gente tan importante como Steve Lawler. A día de hoy sigue inmerso en varios proyectos de producción que saldrán a la luz próximamente y realizando bolos por toda la geografía española. CONTACTO:

He was born in 1973. His passion for this World begins from very child, influenced by the music of the Jean Michael Jarre..s first ep..s. “I believe that the first song of electronic music to that I have listened was MAGNETIC FIELDS” This passion met reached when at the end of 1989 and with only 15 years old, he takes the controls of the one that would be his first residence in the room STRESS where he began to mix with paces like soul, funky and a sound which as very famous in that moment called EBM with influences of Krafwert, Nizzer Ebb, Front 242 or Split Second. The years pass and he adquires more experience, he passes for several rooms of Madrid like TEMPLO or NBQ and also by privet partys, but Carlos wanted more. This actitude offers him the opportunity to travel to Salamanca in 1994 and be the resident of the most important room in Spain in that days called PACHA, where he offered the best way to mix electronic music which was the referente of the famous Castilla y Leon..s nights. Later, short time since he was in PACHA, he began to offer one party per month, on Sunday, which was the revolution in that days and also it was a claim for people of every places of Spain and Portugal too, where he counted with the participation of artists like Cristian Valera, Oscar Mulero, Ike, Makoki, Pascal Kleiman or Master Bon-Z. The Carlos Perona..s sets had sound in rooms so important as ATTICA, CONSULADO, FABRIK, LIQUID, CIRCUS, HEBE, CUBIKO, ZEUS, CAMELOT, CENTRO 2(Portugal) and, of course, NAO (Quismondo-Toledo) where, nowadays, he..s the resedent od TRAVEL HOUSE and BASICO@NAO. In this sessions, always prevalent the electronic sounds, tech-house, electro/minimal house and progressive house with some touchs of techno. In session, he creates a perfect conexion with the public being based on a very polished technology due to Carlos is one of few house dj..s that uses three plates and a good musical selection. In 2001, he began his gait in the radio, one of his big passions, of the hand of dj Nano collaborating once a week in his program “ONE MOMENT IN THE SKY” making a top ten and sessions in live. Thanks to the above mentioned collaboration with dj Nano, Carlos is contracted for Anclas Productions for, together with his companion and friend dj Bee, to direct and to present every Sunday "HOUSE TIME" (The Seven Day-Loca fm-Madrid) This program contents 4 hours with the best of House, inviting dj..s, interviews and live sessions. In turn, in 2003, he continues his gait in the radio collaborating every Monday with Abel the kid and Raúl Ortiz in a program called “Welcome to the Weekend” (Loca fm) Nowadays, since 2004, Carlos directs and presents every Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 “EL AFTER DE LOCA FM”, one of the programs specializing in Electronic-House more important of the national radio where there have passed artists like Tony Méndez, Julian Poker, Luixmi or Dj Bee. In this program, beside realizing interviews and live meetings, Carlos tries to promote the new dj..s and also nacional producers. In 2004, he begins to realize his first productions and in June, 2005 there goes out to the market his more round success "EXPAND THE WORLD" Carlos Perona vs Submission – BLACK SUN records 005), vinyl punctured in the whole world that entered the top 10 of people as important as Steve Lawler.
