La Musica Cubana- Timba in Europe and Beyond
DJ Carlota first cut her djing teeth at Manchester's 'Copacabana' as resident DJ where she played all varieties of Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton (and even the odd bit of Latin pop when forced!!) and later progressed to other events throughout the UK.
The pull of Timba and Cuban music was irresistable and she instantly fell deeply and passsionately in love, increasingly concentrating her efforts here.
Many years ago, she started as a dancer and it is this that allows her to focus on pleasing the feet and souls of the dancers when djing whilst spreading the word about great stuff that is often forgotten.
She HATES those djs who refuse to buy originals.
Her mission is to continue to promote Timba/Cuban music and events worldwide and in Europe.

) is a source of info for Timba/Cuban bands in Cuba and abroad and a way for fellow Casino dancers to find somewhere decent to go!!! It's constantly updated with news, reviews, interviews and links to other sites to keep everyone informated.
She has just returned from living in Cuba for 3 months and is planning to spend the winter there to do some more research!
