A little about myself!
*I'm a DJ/Club Owner/Entertainer/Producer/Promoter in South Texas. I'm a rave & club DJ that spins Funky Electrohouse, UK Hard House, Hard Trance, Funky Breaks and some Drum-n-Bass. I produce both electronic dance music and hip hop. I have a few hip hop tracks currently being played on radio stations around Texas. I promote & throw both electronic events & concerts in Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi, Texas.
I started spinning at age 14, back in '82. I started in hip hop, because I was a rapper/breakdancer! That's right, I been in the rap game since the beginning! Things changed for me around 1990. I moved from Waco, Texas to Los Angeles to seek my fame & fortune in the rap industry under the name - KIDD FRESH. I was in L.A. for about a year pumping shit up at clubs like the Hollywood Paladium, Hollywood Live, Vertigo, Spice, and others. I met a really cool cat named Gary Blitz out there in Cali. He and his friends, Sean Perry & Sparky took me to my first REAL rave. Gary introduced me to the world of electronic dance music, and this dj was hooked! I only wish I knew how to get ahold of Gary Blitz again, so that he could see what his influence on me was & see the dj I turned out to be, because of him! But I'll get into this more laterz!
For years CHAOS has been almost like an alter-ego of my life. During the day I take care of my two beautiful daughters (ages - 8 yrs & 4 yrs) and run my businesses. And at night I become my alter-ego 'CHAOS', throwing down phat trax & filling dance floors across the country. I have taken part in a few different tours over the last few years, both DJ'ing and Performing!
I am currently recording my new CD - ElectroShock Therary (Live DJ Set) to be released the end of October, 2009. We also hope to release an all original hip hop cd in January on Wildstyle Recordz
