A music junkie since knee high, Leslie has been listening to Electronic Music since he was 14 and picked up the art of record mixing somewhere in 2004 during his 2 year stint in the army. A self taught DJ from scratch, he has since gone on to grace the decks of numerous clubs in Singapore such as Attica, Home, Hide Out and the now defunct Liquid Room and Cocco Latte. Most recently he was involved in the Christie’s autumn preview Gala and the Revelation Rave party at St John’s Island. In 2008 he also emerged as one of the top 4 in the much talked about Juice DJ Quest competition held at Ministry of Sound (Singapore). His mixes have also been featured on local radio stations Wkrz 91.3fm and 98.7fm, as well as guest mixes for Stellar Digital podcast and Mixtape Collective (Asia) podcast
His flexibility and eclectic style of mashing genres together has helped him land gigs in different bar and club settings. As much as he remains a Progressive House advocate, at the club he incorporates anything from electro, techno, tech-house, breaks to trance into his DJ sets. Be it uplifting, groovy or dark, his sets cover a wide spectrum of human emotion. At the bar, you can hear him dish out anything from down-tempo, trip hop, acid jazz, deep house to minimal grooves.
Besides DJ work Leslie spends his free time in his home studio writing music from the heart and without any commercial motive his own productions such as “Empathy” and “The Life of Frankie Wilde” were aired on Yukun's private reserve show - lush 99.5fm in 2007.
To further hone his skills he enlisted with the School of Audio Engineering and graduated with a Diploma of Higher Education where he got involved with the first demo recordings of established Metal outfit, Absence of the Sacred and Battle of the Bands winners 2008, 80% Alcohol.
