For 8 years Chris was label manager for the Glasgow label Solemusic. Chris was fundamental in Solemusic's operations and dealt with an array of tasks including manufacturing, distribution and foreign licensing. He was also head of A&R for Solemusics sister label Tronicsole. During his time, Tronicsole peaked over 50 releases and included releases by artists such as Swirl People, Phil Asher, Bugz in the Attic, DJQ, Fresh n Low, Inland Knights, Master D, Jay Tripwire and Martin Venetjoki. Chris left Solemusic and Tronicsole in summer 04 to pursue pastures new, by accepting a job as Label Manager for the Jazz/Funk label, Buff Records where he was responsible for manufacturing and distribution as well as signing and managing live bands...Buff Records finished in 2006. Chris is a qualified audio engineer and has a diploma in audio engineering from The School of Audio Engineering and a degree in Audio Technology with Multimedia from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Chris has DJed with some of the worlds finest DJs including DJ Raoul (Swirl People), DJ Buck (Siesta / Leaf), Kenny Hawkes, Paul Woolford (Back 2 Basics), David Duriez (Brique Rouge), Luke Mckeehan (Nordic Trax), Dizzy (Doubledown), Jonene (Stompy),Chris Lum (Moulton Studios) Murray Richardson (Rebel Waltz), Stuart Patterson (Faith) and Joeski (Maya / Mi Casa). He has also DJ'ed across the world with highlights including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast, Paris, Barcelona, Brussels, Leuven, Vancouver, NYC, Miami, Toronto and a two week tour of Russia.
Chris has also remixed and produced tracks for a plethora of artists and labels under various guises and appeared on labels such as Tronicsole, Brique Rouge, Underwater, Nordic Trax, Random House, Om Records, Guest House, Lost My Dog and Mettle Music. His tracks have been played across the globe by DJs such as DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Greenskeepers, DJ Heather, Yousef, Fred Everything, Tony Humphries, Raoul Belmans, Jason Hodges, David Duriez, Tony Tango, Joshua, Harri & Dominic, to name but a few.
Mixes have been aired on Beat 106, Galaxy network and Norway's radio 1. His productions have also been aired on Radio 1, BBC Radio Northern Ireland, Radio Clyde, Beat 106, XFM, Galaxy, Ministry Radio, Viking FM, Vibes FM, SSRadioUK, Radio Magnetic and Kiss FM.
