mom, dad, aida (my sister), vinny lobianco, ben sybert, chip hood, kevin mcnerney, adam pickrell (all of the previous being very very important and very very personal to me--- they totally helped shape who i am today) charlie parker, gerry mulligan, miles davis, gil evans, cannonball adderly and early coltrane are some of my first musical influences. nirvana, pantera, stone temple pilots, trent reznor, the first album from pearl jam, likewise for marylon manson, and sepultra were in heavy rotation for a few years. the soundtrack to the anime movie akira (major influence). marchel ivory, shelly carroll, cluad johnson, earl harvin trio, christian parkus, andrew giffith, and so many more dallas jazz musicians that i'm forgetting right now. the dallas dance music scene thank you!! for those that know them- bonehead, miles, demarkus lewis, scottie (red eye), mike roos, craig howell, sal, and a number of other dallas dj's. other djs and producers included derrick carter, teifshwarz, dj gregory, bob sinclar. i love the artists/bands micheal franti and spearhead, prince, micheal jackson, quincy jones, stevie wonder, john legend, outkast, neptunes, dr dre, curtis mayfield and many more!
