Dj Christian Hawk was born in Ribeirao Preto in 1981 and went to live in Sao Paulo when he was less than a year old. Enjoying good music from an early age, he came into contact with a whole range of records he used to listen to with his father... Getting to know bands such as New Order, Information Society, Prodigy and Apollo 44, Hawk began his professional journey into the eletronic scene. Working as a professional Dj since 2000, Hawk has played gigs in the best brazilian venues and was the resident dj in the best clubs including D-Edge, SPKZ, Vegas and the now closed Lov.E Club (all four in Sao Paulo) and Dama de Ferro and Fosfobox (both in Rio de Janeiro). Christian Hawk is often seen playing the most important gigs in brazil and with this passion for eletronic music he kept moving on ... Motivated mainly by experimental eletronic music, hawk started to develop his own sound in the year of 2002 and despite being a huge fan of Karlheinz Stockhausen, he got inspiration for his own tracks by absorbing the beats of jazz, bossa nova, rock'n roll , reggae and soul. Organizing the best events of his time, he put together the famous "Blow Up!" party in its first three years of existence, not to mention "Tech me Up!", "Get FunkY!" and the private party "InovatioN". Being a huge success, all of those parties were each based on unique concepts, always aiming to make the public undergo new experiences. In 2008 , Christian Hawk was able to start making two more of his dreams come true . With help from his partner Raoni Kirschner and always planning to spread brand new high quality music, he created "High Definition Records" - always investing in up and coming talent. In April 2009,"High Definition Records" released their first EP " Movingstones EP" by the duo Oblivion. In less than 4 days from its release the album reached number 29 on the best selling albums of their category. Meanwhile, Hawk , Kirschner and Trends Management created a new project bringing the best and original artists to events happening both in Brazil and around the world. With a very selected casting, Trends carefully supports the career progressions of every one of its artists,always making sure they are in the right place according to their skills and making sure that they have a bright future working as an artist. ------------------------------------------------- .. Desde pequeno apreciava boa música, ouvia diversos discos com seu pai, e depois de ouvir muito New Order, Information Society, Prodigy e Apollo44, Hawk iniciou sua jornada profissional na música eletrônica. DJ profissional desde 2000, Hawk já tocou nas melhores pistas do Brasil. Foi residente do extinto Lov.E Club (SP), da SPKZ (SP), do Vegas (SP), e do conceituadíssimo D-Edge. Aficcionado pela música eletrônica, principalmente vanguardista, Hawk começou a produzir seus primeiros ruídos no ano de 2002. Apesar de ser fã assumido do músico experimentalista Karlheinz Stockhausen, Hawk ouve diversos estilos músicais como por exemplo jazz, bossa, rock..n roll, soul, reggae e blues, que acabam por influenciar suas produções. Como produtor, seu primeiro release em 2009, “Square Feet” foi top56 de vendas da categoria na loja Beatport. Esse ano Hawk lançou 2 EP’s, sendo 1 em vinil, remixado por Franklin de Costa da Resopal (Alemanha) e pelo top Juan Sanchez das gigantes Great Stuff e Break New Soil. Suas produções são tocadas por diversos artistas de peso ao redor do mundo, como por exemplo: Bushwacka, Mendo, Wally Lopez, Kolombo, Tim Green, Danny Tenaglia, Karotte, Tom Novy, Jim Rivers, Dj Chus, Nills Nuernberg, Martin Eyerer, Gabriele Baldi e Dom Kane. Organizador de eventos, Hawk organizou a famosa festa "Blow Up" nos seus primeiros 3 anos de existência, além da private party "InovatioN", das festas "Tech Me Up!", e também da "Get Funky!". Todas um sucesso absoluto, cada uma com um conceito diferente onde o público pode viver uma experiência única. Em 2008, Christian Hawk realizou mais 2 sonhos. Junto com seu sócio Raoni Kirschner, com a missão de difundir música de qualidade e inovadora, fundou a High Definition Records, selo brasileiro hoje reconhecido internacionalmente. Em abril de 2009 foi lançado o primeiro EP da gravadora, "Movingstones EP", do duo Oblivion, que atingiu em menos de 4 dias a posição de 29º. mais vendido da categoria também no Beatport. Ao mesmo tempo, deram início ao projeto da agência Trends Management, que tem o objetivo de assessorar o artista em todos os âmbitos e trazer o que há de melhor e mais novo para os grandes eventos do Brasil e do mundo.
