Christopher Gabriel, sparked an interest in music at the age of 14 when he received his first electric guitar. He spent 2 years in and out of various grunge and hardcore rock bands. When he was 17, he heard The Crystal Method's "Get Busy Child" at a dance rehearsal for highschool students where he and friend Adriel Goddard worked as volunteer stagehands. In awe of the electronic music he had heard, he then began to discover more of the genre. Listening to and inspired by greats such as George Acosta, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Baby Anne, DJ Icey, Dieselboy, The Chemical Brothers, Voodoo & Serano, Alien Project and many others he took up a clerical job offer at a local pediatric center while in highschool in order to buy his first synthesizer, a Yamaha CS1X.
Christopher then began learning about music production starting off with nothing but the Yamaha CS1X he had bought and Cool Edit Pro. He began buying up various equipment and at the age of 20 became interested in live sound. He took up a job at a local venue known as The Zone. At this time he had just met Vincent Esquivel (AKA Boodah), who took an interest in reviving the music scene in Corpus Christi. Christopher and Vincent worked as live sound engineers for The Zone running live sound for punk rock bands for 2 years.
Paul Bissell, a professor of Recording Techniques, Electroacoustics and Multimedia Production courses, opened Christopher's eyes to a whole new world of music production. Inspired once again, he then set out to rediscover his long time love of electronic music. Since then, Christopher Gabriel has completed 18 Original Trance, Breakbeat, Techno and House tracks.
As a DJ, Christopher Gabriel has performed at many local venues including Oxygen, Club 1, VIP and The Beach Club. As well as Budweiser's BoozeCruise Event.
DJ Christopher Gabriel has performed with many DJs such as Yoseph, Darkroom Eyecon, Alternate 15, Moe Flow, DJ Xile, K.Y.E, Orpheus, DJ Sever, Blurr, DJ Mulnar, DJ Rick, DJ Bounz, DJ Cypher, Lonnie B. and Many others.
