DJ Corey D & Pepper MaShay win 2008 International songwriting competition on Dec. 8th for Dance/Electronica with "Does Your Mamma Know".
In recent years, DJ Corey D has built a name for himself in the dance community, not only as one of the best DJ's in the country, but also as a remixer and producer. In addition to being the Program Director for the #1 Gay Dance Radio Station in the U.S. (www.pnn.fm), DJ Corey D has written and produced for Artists like Martha Wash, Pepper Mashay and others.
In 2007 he made history by becoming the only local dj to spin White Party, Palm Springs.
2008 was even more productive for Corey D. By the end of the year, he'd remixed 6 songs, designed 2 CD Covers, produced music for the Winter Music Conference in Miami, spun events all over the country, was the headlining DJ for the Pride dance tents in San Diego, Riverside, and Palm Springs, where he double billed as the Entertainment Director as well – all while spinning his mix-show on PNN Radio 5 days a week.
For 2009, DJ Corey D has remixed 3 songs scheduled for release as singles and one scheduled for release on the forth-coming debut album of amberRose Marie, Plus, his latest release with Pepper MaShay, entitled "Does Your Mamma Know" which he produced and co-wrote is the current winner of the international song writing competition for best dance/electronica song. Add to that his extreme live booking schedule all over the country, and you'll see why DJ Corey D is in high demand.
