About Low Cut

C’est au debut des années 90 que Dj Low Cut découvre le Hip-Hop, c’est la révélation !

Intrigué par le Dj’ing, il decide que sa place sera derrière les platines. Influencé par le son New-Yorkais, il se tourne assez rapidement vers la composition et c’est en 2003 qu’il crée avec Murasamé et Shen'J le groupe O.L.G, dans lequel il officie en tant que dj et compositeur.

S’ensuit alors de nombreux concerts dans les villes de Seine-Et-Marne. Le premier Ep du groupe intitulé «Autonome» vient quant à lui en 2004.

Le début d'année 2008 voit la sortie du street cd «Hip-hop Thérapy». C’est lors de la réalisation de ce dernier projet que le trio se rapproche du groupe Kaligraf (Phett, SP, Piks, Wan J et Spampa), et décide de fusionner sous le nom de K.O..

Ingenieur du son de formation, Dj Low Cut participe à la réalisation (enregistrement, mixage, composition..) des divers mixtapes et albums du crew (Phett «A Coeurs ouverts», K.O. «K.O. Technik», Murasamé «Impulsion»...).

Il decide aussi de sortir des mixtapes dédiées à ses racines musicales: le Hip-Hop americain («Prison» en 2007, et «Rugged Soundz» en 2008).

De plus en plus impliqué dans la composition, il compose pour différents artistes en France et jusqu'aux Usa (notamment Randam Luck, projet a venir).

Pour arroser çà il se dit qu’un concert sur une péniche serait du meilleur goût. Oui, mais Pedro n’aime pas le poisson (beurk), Jl est malade en bateau (encore plus beurk), Paco est un pilote de hors bord militant qui n’aime pas les bateaux qui se traînent (il trouve çà beurk) et en plus sofff préfère que le bateau reste à quai au cas où quelqu’un aurait le mauvais goût d’arriver à la bourre (ce serait… ok stop). Résultat ?
