Sounds Like
A mix of alot of different influences, most importantly my mood. If a track sounds dark or melancholy, I was feelin' that shit. I am ruled by emotions, being a Cancer sign. I work well when in lesser spirits. So don't think I'm down or depressed...I'm just workin' on a new track!

DJ DarkBoy started in 1989 at age 14, DJing wedding receptions, high school and junior high dances, and parties. At 16, he formed his 'club' CoolDog Studios which for a time included fellow DJ Kent Brown. In 2000, he took a break, only occassionally doing friend's weddings and in 2003 moved to Springfield, Missouri where he took up DJing on his 30th birthday at the bar "Martha's Vineyard" for one night during Pride Weekend, but soon found that most bars in the city had 'permanent' DJ's and rarely hired new. So he either had to wait for one of them to die or find another avenue to keep busy while working with music. After a year of wonderin' what to do, DJ DarkBoy started working on his first CD of all original instrumental material, which he recently completed titled "The Seam Unfolds" and a disc of original vocal tracks with friends and local artists that's in the works. He also mixes other tracks by local bands, darker artists and Top 40 artists. More news to come...
