Born in France in the late seventies, Dean Amo grew up surrounded by music. At the early age of 16, influenced by Jeff mills, Derrick May, Emanuel Top, Surgeon or Sven Vath he bought his first dj set up. Since 1997, he built a serious Techno music background exploring almost all the different kinds of electronic music .
His nick name is related to the way he behave behind the desks. Intense, dynamic, energic with a strong feeling for the groove, but also deep and elegant. He combines a fine music playlist with dexterity using all kind of tricks and effects to turn upside down the parties spinning Minimal Techno or Hardgroove/Off Beat Techno in a really intense way. Since his first parties, he learnt how to find the perfect combinations in the music to bring his audience to a upper lever in the party. As a result, he has visited yet several european countries such as France, Belgium, Spain or Ex-yougoslavia where he met great success next to some of the most well known djs o the planet.
Now installed in Barcelona (Spain), Dean Amo joined recently the dj agency Shape booking listing artists like dj Murphy, Elton D, Alex Calvertron, Daisychain,...
He also dedicates more time to music production modeling and shaping his own vision of music. His work is just starting to be recognized. Records labels such as Audecks, Darkside, Decoded, Expmental, Iridial or Recon warriors Records already trusts Dean Amo..s productions skills and will release some of his thunes in the upcoming months.
