As of November 22, 2009 THE COSMIC BARRIO will be hosted by DJ DELPHINUS who has been at Los Angeles' KPFK Pacifica-Radio since 2002. First, as part of four rotating DJs, hosting IN THE MIX, still periodically sitting in for various GLOBAL VILLAGE hosts, COSMIC BARRIO's Derek Rath, MOOD II SWING's Steve Martin, THE MUSIC NEVER STOPS' Barry Smolin, SOUNDWAVES' DJ Abraham ... she just completed the very last THE DARK ROOM show (2003-2009) which was created, hosted and produced by herself. Delphine is now the NEW host/producer of THE COSMIC BARRIO (as of 11/22/09).

NOTE: Because my time is very limited, I will not download anything, so, if you feel your music is appropriate for THE COSMIC BARRIO (because you've checked the playlist (of course) and you feel your music is a right fit), please send me a CD (preferred) and/or vinyl. I listen to everything! However, please DO NOT send me Hip Hop (unless it is instrumental), and please: NO Rock, NO Punk, NO Heavy Metal, NO Smooth Jazz ... PLEASE read the types of music I like to play on the show (see on the left) BEFORE you send it to me. And sorry: I DO NOT announce shows & performances on the show.
