DJS: honestly I enjoy listening to many local djs, mainly broward peeps, old EP djs who are still out there grinding for the love of it, there is so much talent amongst these guys here locally, I hear national and international djs all the time and so often its unimpressive. Some of the best sets ive ever heard came from house parties with djs like Obsession, Madhatter, Juxt, and Dagger just to name a few.
My main inspirations to become a dj were, George Acosta (shadow lounge & level), George Alvarado (late night laboratory) , Dj Steel (3299), and Dj Shalomar (club Radius).

BIO:
Dj DERANGED is a well known dj amongst the underground electronic dance music scene of south florida, particularly in Ft. Lauderdale's Broward County.
He began his journey in 2001 by hosting a weekly online radio show where listeners could see him mix Hard Trance vinyl records live on camera. Soon after in 2002 Deranged began getting asked to dj for house parties, usually after 4 am and well into the morning. In 2003 he received his first paying gig and has been stacking up the bookings ever since. The Euphoria Project began booking him to spin Hard Trance at venues such as Lumonics, I.O., and X-IT Nightclub.
In 2006 Deranged hooked up with the local dj tandem Rabbit & Madhatter becoming an equal partner of E.M.A., the Electronic Music Alliance. E.M.A. took off with great success while pioneering many "firsts" in the south florida all-age rave scene. One of E.M.A.'s main goal was to transform the dark and dull rave into a full blown show with crowd interaction using new themes, props, and stage lighting that moved with the music. Using the motto "Everyone Eats" , EMA set out to make sure DJs, performers, and staff all received a fair share when profits were expected.
As EMA continues to evolve, so does dj DERANGED. As a professional audio engineer, Deranged spends a lot of time perfecting original music and remixes. Oftentimes the audience he plays for will not be aware it is his music they are dancing to. His musical stylings have grown over the years as well. Starting off as strictly a hard trance vinyl purist, Deranged is now very comfortable playing House, Breaks, Progressive, Trance, & Dubstep on any format.
The highlights of the Deranged career can be marked by his two back to back appearances at Ultra Music Festival, his 4 showings at Candyland, his bookings in California, Costa Rica, and Tampa, the success of E.M.A., or the countless goals still yet to be achieved. However, if you ask Deranged he will tell you himself none of that matters. To him, at the end of it all its about reaching people through the music.
