Diego Vega was born in Montevideo (Uruguay) in 1985 and for several years has lived in Quito (Ecuador). He started his career in electronic music as a DJ in 2002, a few years later he started producing. Since then with his friends and colleagues Diego Celi, Jose Guarderas and Sabad they created the Mindsounds label to release innovative minimal house/techno. Mindsounds acts as a platform for its 4 founding artists, but in addition it is an open space to showcase other artists from around the world. To date Diego has released several singles and EPs available digitally worldwide in stores like Beatport. His sound is characterized for being deep and loaded with sub-bass, with highly repetitive bases which reveal a background of great subtlety in their minimun details.
