DJ Disturbed (Chris McCauley) was born in Panama City, Florida and grew up in Durham, NC. He has been a musician since he was 11. At age 13 he started working with lighting and sound systems for live events. He attended Elon College studying Theatrical Lighting and sound system design. DJ Disturbed started DJing in 1997 as a freashman in college and went pro in 2001. He currently DJs at Teasers Mens Club in Durham, NC. Past clubs that he has been seen in are, Club Kryptonite (Burlington, NC), Shooters II (Durham, NC), J.A.B.S Ultra Bar (Burlington, NC), The Berkley (Raleigh, NC), Club La Vela (Panama City, Fl), and the Penthouse Chain of clubs. He has designed or consulted on the sound and/or lighting systems for Club Kryptonite, J.A.B.S Ultra Bar, Shooters II, Sin City (Raleigh, NC), Jump Shots (Durham, NC) and Sirens Lounge (Durham, NC). He has also done work in the theatres of the Durham Arts Council. DJ Disturbed has worked with artist such as DJ Trashy, Jackal & Hyde, J-Breaks, Camp Lo, DJ SK, DJ 40oz, DJ Mejica, DJ B, DJ Frenzy, DJ Swif, Roy G. Biv, Chef Goobie, DJ Jaffa and many others. He has preformed in events by Red Bull, girls Gone Wild, Real World, Gruv Glue, A.C.P., Ohana Clan, 107.5 WKZL, 94.5 The Beat (WGBT).
