Djio, baptized as Dionizio Bonfim Bach, debuted as amateur DJ in 1991, while turning 17, in Florianópolis, Brazil. A little later he started professionally playing in parties and other events around the city. Since then, there are 15 years of history and sound.
Music changed, and Djio got along. Meanwhile he played several genres: Techno, Trance, Progressive House... Time passed and, as usual, good things last. The good and old House wins new clothing (Electro, Filtered, Disco, Funky, ...) and is still his main work genre. Always searching for a fusion between the classics and news tendencies, researches ethnic rhythms, preferring brazilian, afro and latin sounds. His sets prime for the good musical taste with messages of a fun and optimistic life.
Besides DJing, he has more and more incursions in the musical production field. Already has participated in two CDs, from the Curitiba's bands Golgotha and Sentido, produced the soundtrack for the short-length movie 'Merde' of Lucila Bach, also keeps a partnership with Isaac Varzin in the project called Twist-Cola, among others.
In 2002, moved definitively to Curitiba, where also works as a multimedia developer and designer; activities that adds lots to his musical work.

Djio, batizado como Dionizio Bonfim Bach, estreou como DJ amador em 1991, ao completar 17 anos, em Florianópolis - SC. Pouco depois já iniciava profissionalmente a tocar em festas e eventos da cidade. Desde então já são 15 anos de muita história e de muito som.
A música mudou, e Djio acompanhou. Durante esse tempo tocou muita coisa: Techno, Trance, Progressive House... O tempo passou, e como sempre, as coisas boas permanecem. O bom e velho House recebe novas roupagens (Electro, Filtered, Disco, Funky, ...) e ainda é o genêro ao qual se dedica hoje. Buscando sempre a fusão do clássico com as novas tendências, pesquisa ritmos étnicos com preferência aos sons brasileiros, afro e latinos. Seus sets primam pelo bom gosto musical com mensagens de diversão e otimismo pela vida.
Além de discotecar, tem cada vez mais entrado no meio da produção musical. Já faz participações nos CDs das bandas curitibanas Golgotha e Sentido, desenvolveu trilha sonora para o curta 'Merde' de Lucila Bach, mantém parceria de produção com Isaac Varzin no projeto Twist-Cola, entre outros.
Em 2002 mudou-se definitivamente para Curitiba onde também é desenvolvedor multimídia e designer, atividades que acrescentam muito ao seu trabalho musical.
