Dan Kilroy, aka dKilla, currently resides in Columbus, OH, where he's lived since early 2005. In that time he's held residencies at the Carlile Club, Mynt, Lotus and currently, Bristol Bar where, in conjunction with an experienced promotional team, he's created one of Columbus' most popular recurring multi-genre nightclub events. Over the past 7 years, he's performed by invitation at many other Columbus establishments as well as popular venues up and down the east coast. Musically influenced by his surroundings, Dan is fortunate to have lived in several booming musical metropolises including Miami, FL and Atlanta, GA and remains active in the their underground scenes.
Having an insatiable interest in virtually all genres of music, dKilla is known to play everything from old school Electro and Miami Bass to Hip-Hop and Liquid DnB. His uncanny ability work a crowd into a frenzy through squeaky clean mixing and undeniably fun track selection has allowed him to share the booth with likes of Ewun, Sizzahands, Homicide, Shapeshifter, Random Movement, Baby Anne, Kaskade, Ryan Elliott, Flosstradamus, Kos and General Malice.
Dan's been working hard in CBus to put a new spin on an old local music scene. Noted mainly for introducing liquid funk DnB into Columbus’ mainstream clubs, he's obviously chosen the path less followed in an effort to create new electronic music aficionados rather than tugging at the proverbial pant legs of the recently lethargic "party people" of old. Why keep all this great music to ourselves? He's made it his mission to spread the word to all that will listen.
