I am generally known for my hardcore DJing which I have been doing for many years - but I am in to loads of different music, particularly breaks and DnB. So you can catch me playing various styles under different guises!
Just putting together the first release on Synthetic Breaks which is pretty exciting. Watch this space (soon as the great St Austell one helps out from Oz!)

Quick history - started DJing in 1993. Set up DMA promotions in early 93 which led to Crystal Clear where I ran some very successful events in the legendary Plymouth Warehouse. The likes of Hixxy, SY, Unknown, Ramos, Brisk, Vinylgroover, Slipmatt etc making regular appearances. This continued with my Club Speed bi-weekly events right through until late 1996 when the Plymouth hardcore scene hit rock bottom. Wasn't interested in the trance/house doing the rounds so took a back seat, had some kids, worked on my career etc. Then by chance, for a laugh played out some Drum n Bass at an open deck night in 2000. Was made resident the following week! Started up Synthetic shortly afterwards because there was no one doing hardcore in Plymouth.

Hooked up with Ian a year or two later through the geezer Kev Rose and the rest they say is history...

Synthetic been running for more than 5 years and pretty much every Hardcore DJ you could think of has played down at one time or another. Throughout the last 5 years I have been involved in some capacity with Synthetic (obviously), Reactiv8, Rebirth and now the very successful Hardcore Reborn. Don't think there are many clubs I haven't played in Devon & Cornwall that weren't worth playing at one time or another in the last 12/13 years but trying to slow up a little because really want to push the breaks sound a little further. - Can't do everything!

So pretty much been involved in the hardcore scene in Devon & Cornwall for well over a decade - god I am old! lol. Suppose I should mention that I have designed many of the flyers that have been in circulation for many promoters in Devon & Cornwall over the last 5 years too. The full Crystal Clear history to be added to Synthetic site at some point this year! At some point I will convert the DAT tapes from all those events too and put online - there are stacks including Ramos, Sy, Slipmatt, Vinylgroover, Sharkey, Unknown, Food Junky, Destruction, Brisk, Hixxy, Clarkee, Scorpio, to name a few - all from 1993 till 1996
