About me:

.. Da Doo-Dirty Radio Show “was established on August 1st, 2006, by DJ Baker, who started doing the show as a result of his frustration with the lack of representation of Black LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) role models in mainstream media. With the rise of homophobia in mainstream media and more specifically hip-hop, he desperately felt the need to fill the void and become a leader in this market. He also felt the need to create an alliance between the LGBT community and the “Heteros” as he say’s, he felt that no matter the artistic talent or sexual orientation that all artist should be equally promoted. With his “Tell it like it is” attitude DJ gained an audience of 10, 000 globally within a 1 years time period with 77% being black gay men, 12% being black heterosexual women, 9% being black gay women and 2% being hetero sexual male. DJ would ask the questions that one dared to ask while entertaining yet maintaining a comfortable interview between him and any guest who appeared on the show. DJ has created an outlet where artist, entertainers, and organizations alike can come together regardless of their differences to promote and support one another while letting the world know we can unite and every artist isn’t in fact homosexual but can be friendly with homosexuals and not be homophobic. DJ creates a platform where artist can express their sexuality and have fun while promoting their talents. Da Doo-Dirty show has had Main Stream and Underground guest appear on the show and the exit response from all entertainers was always a good one. Da Doo-Dirty Show became a staple in the community, being delivered 5 days a week for 3 hours a day, bring the best in Hip-Hop and R&B into homes across the globe. Da Doo-Dirty Show also is one of the only sources to hear most LGBT hip-hop and R&B artist mixed in with underground, independent and popular music of today, garnishing the tag line “Blazing The Best Mixture Of Hip-Hop and R&B”.
