One of Israel's most popular names in dance and electronic music,
Dor Dekel has established himself as a powerful DJ/producer since he first came onto the scene over a decade ago.
Dor is living every dj's dream. He is a working club dj, a music producer/remixer, a radio dj and a music businessman.
As a radio dj, he is the senior musical editor at 100FM, one of the biggest radio stations in the middle east. Additionally, he hosts his own prime time club show, "LINE OUT WITH DOR DEKEL" on Friday nights, hosting the biggest names in the industry such as Bob Sinclar, Steve Angello, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Laidback Luke and many more.
As a club DJ he plays at all of the hottest venues in the country, as well as huge raves and events, like the Gay and Love Parade, Esc the red city rave, Bombamella festival etc. Most recently he played at the Tel Aviv 100th Pride event in front of 100,000 people!
As a music businessman, he has worked in A&R for the International Dance department at HELICON RECORDS, Israel's distributor of Virgin and EMI records.
As a music producer, Dekel produces and remixes tracks for the top artists in the country (Yardena Arazi, Shiri Maimon, Ivri Lider, Roni superstar etc) as well as artists worldwide (September, Agnes, Offer Nissim feat Maya etc).
As if that's not enough, he formed his side project HOVEVEY ZION with singer Noy Alooshe and created the biggest hit in Israel in 2007 – "Rotse Banot". As a result of their massive success, the two ventured out on a successful tour, and were cast to star in a national television campaign for Israel's largest cellular company (Cellcom) in which their hit track was featured.
In 2008, Dekel's "Boys of Freedom" was released in America, featuring a new remix by Mike Rizzo. The track reached the top of the charts at radio stations, such as Pride Radio, Fusion Radio Chicago, as well as on digital stores like Djpool and Masterbeat.
In 2009, while his successful radio show is getting more and more reactions worldwide, and his bootlegs being played by artists such as Bob Sinclar, Laidback Luke and Abel Ramos, Dor releases the first compilation cd titled LINE OUT, featuring tracks by David Guetta, Guru Josh, Ian Carey, Kurd Maverick, Alex Gaudino and many more.
With such vast experience under is belt, Dor Dekel has earned his place in the music industry, and the world anxiously awaits what's to come from this prolific music mind in the next year.
