Born in North Hollywood California, Drednok aspired to become a hardcore DJ at the young age of 16. He was first introduced to the fast, heart pounding music style at a friend’s house where he had never heard anything like it before. Of course, most people would be turned off by the loud, hard and repetitive bass-kicks associated with the Hardcore sound but because of his metal and punk influences there was no question he would absorb this music into his very being.
What followed were memories and stories of the days when Hardcore and raving were an every weekend event, an everyday part of life and life changing experiences were sure to be had. It was while listening to old mix-tapes by such DJs as Demigod, Delta-9, Mindcontroller, Ron D Core, R.A.W., Dan Efex, Tron, DJ Trance, Omar Santana, and Technoman, his creative juices started flowing. But, it wasn’t until after being introduced to local DJ's such as Nemesis, Pheline, J’Sin, DutchBoy and PlaydowEater that he began to feel the true energy of creativity.
With influences from DJ's and producers from around the world as well as his fellow local DJ's he’ll always stay true to the Gabberhouse sound, and this is what you should come to expect from Drednok’s vision of Hardcore.
