About me:

DJ D-Rizzo started in the music industry at the age of 13. At the time he was the youngest card carrying member of the FCC. Working as a board operator and part time as a radio DJ, D-Rizzo was able to explore his passion for music and soon felt a primal urge to learn how to mix. At age 16 he started to experiment with beat re-mixing on his first set of turntables. At the same junction in time he was given a prime time slot on a powerhouse evening FM station. His talent and personality captivated his listeners who in turn made him the #1 most listened to personality during his slot, according to the second arbitral rating book. The next stage of his journey found him living in New York City in the year 2002, right after graduating high school. He was able to focus full time on working on shows for broadcast on some of the top radio shows in the country. He was also able to use this opportunity to start mixing in clubs and he fell in love with watching dancers and club goers catch his vibe while moving their bodies to his unique creations. He is now presently based in the Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD area. DJ D-Rizzo continues to expand his audience, finding appreciative fans where ever his music takes him. Today DJ D-Rizzo is heard on several radio stations with his weekly dance remix show, reaching over 400,000 listeners each week. He has also mixed at many different club venues around the country as well as having opened for some of the industry's top artists. DJ D-Rizzo keeps his audience happy with a wide assortment of music from Hip Hop, to Dance, to House, to Underground. He has preformed live in several different countries including Germany and Japan and traveled all over the USA. His over 210 personally produced and licensed remixes have nominated him for 9 awards, of which he received 4, including Best up and Coming remix artist of 2008 at the UK Dance Music Awards and Best Remix Arrangement for the 2008 Kimberly Locke's Change. His passion and style of mixing is sure to keep people dancing all night long.
