Josh Sands aka Dubfama is currently living in Southampton in his last year at Solent University studying Urban and Electronic Music, previously he lived near Leeds.
"I first heard dubstep in 2005 at Sub Dub in Leeds when Digital Mystikz came up from london to play on the Iration Steppas sound system. After that i was hooked and ive been into the scene ever since, it seemed to pretty much blow up every from then on. I only really started mixing and producing properly when i came to Southampton for University in 2007. I have a residency at Suburbia SW in Bristol as well as playing regularly in Southampton at nights such as Raygun Youth, Decibel, Vinyl Messi, Rehab and Steppin Razor and also Dubnium in Bournmouth (SICK NIGHT). I occasionally get a chance to play out in Huddersfield where the scene has really started to take off. In the last year or so i've played with ranking DJs such as Coki, Jack Sparrow, Walsh, Marlow and 16bit to name a few. I played at the last Glade festival and if all goes to plan i hope to play at Glade 2010."
