Greetings!The Duke is a spontaneous & creative boulevardier with a sharp wit and badass sense of humor.I spend most of my time and effort DJing,booking and promoting shows around the SF Bay.Keep your eyes open for the various "House of Windsor" and "The Duke Presents" events. Music,the listening to and collection of,is a primary focus.I'm a music collector rather than a conventional record collector.My vinyl list consists mostly of 60's garage/Brit/psych rock,international pop,punk & post-punk,space-rock,exotica and peculiar & cool oddities. Did I mention motorcycles? I've been riding for about 10 years now. Recently, when my 1st bike (a 1971 Triumph Tiger 650) started feeling a bit run down I decided to pick up a '74 Norton Commando 850. After 6 months of work it's finally on the road. It's fantastic: might never have to buy another bike. Famous last words, maybe? At first meeting some blokes think I'm sarcastic,cynical,and maybe some kinda smart-ass.I've been told by people that I reminded them of Christopher Walken(?!).This is a surprise to me because I'm a generally upbeat guy.I'm cool with comrades who are down with the program but have no patience for pretentious,untrustworthy or disrespectful fucks.My attitude is:put yourself out there,drop your preconceptions,have a sense of humor (preferably cynical/absurd) and see what the hell happens.There's only one thing to take seriously:reality (even though it has a liberal bias). I'm some sorta artist.I've been drawing for years ;mostly poster art and b/w graphics.All of my flyers & posters you see are done by me (check out my photo gallery).I dig typeface too ,especially by hand.No digital tricks.Several years ago I even designed a house that was built in Costa Rica.All my friends are musicians/artists/bartenders.We have fucking rad times and take it to another level on a daily basis!!!..
