Influences
Dj Dunya started his journey as an artist during his times as a globe trotter, exploring different cultures en tribes. Here he discovered such exquisite sounds he couldn’t find his way back home. Then he started to mix-up with Balkan tunes and old school Swing Jazz. The result is a warm, pumping and balanced mix between acoustic and electronic music.
In 2004 he started to organise his own World Music parties called Dunya Tour or world tour, which from the start had a big succes in Antwerp. With the succes of his party’s and grow of the Balkan Beats Dj Dunya became a more profound Dj in his style.
By investing and promoting new trends like Electro Swing, which recovers old swing tunes with modern electronics, DJ dunya always surprises the crowd with new and exclusive music.

In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. May you be as vivid as your hallucinations. I keep searching for you between the cushions. In your presence even my shadow acquires the sensation of touch. Your eyes are like spheres of crystal water filled with shimmering dreams. I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm.

"Feeligs" EP is a very personal one. Composed of 6 tracks that come directly from the artist's feelings without censorship attempt to preserve a particular style. The first two tracks reveal his inclination for progressive trance, they are melodic and full of message. The third track is a love ballad, a very personal issue that finds its roots in Rock music. The three following tracks: Soul, Mind and Meditation (Trip_Hop, Break_Beat and Deep_Ambient) they are musical landscapes, an expression of sound feeling that these areas of life printed in the consciousness of the musician.
