My influences and taste in electronic dance music originated in San Francisco during the peak of the rave scene in the late 90's. The SF Bay Area THRIVED with amazing trance DJ's and that is where I originally fell in love with the electronic music sound. Since then I have listened to, and watched grow... the likes of DJ's Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Blank and Jones, Paul Van Dyk, and countless other world reknown dance DJ's, all the while doing my best to keep up with their sound, while still adding that old SF flavor and energy that I came to love.
Since I relocated to Minneapolis and the Twin Cities, I discovered that this particular region loved their house music. And my appreciation for the style u will most likely hear me play out in the clubs, was developed actually out of many of the local DJ's here in this area, that I'm proud to now call my friends. There were many that helped aid me in locking down my present sound that would, and HAS worked consistantly here, while still keeping it unique enough for people to have something different and exciting to look forward too. For that I am forever grateful!
I've always been a bit of a trailblazer myself, and like to push the envelope on what people are accustomed too, keep giving them something a little bigger, a little better! (especially in the electronic music realm). Come check out any one of my sets around town and hear for yourself first hand where all these influences, have ultimately lead me!
Sounds Like
This is I would say is an undefinable area to answer myself. Alot of DJ's think they have to HAVE A SOUND... But, Because my "Sound" is constantly changing, depending on the crowd that I am about to perform for, I prefer to be known for having the ability to be a DJ for any situation. No matter the genre, Top 40, Mashups, Hip Hop, Old Skool Dance Jams, House, Techno, and even my favorite TRANCE. I would hate to be known for sounding like any one particular DJ. When it comes right down too it, I think I can sound just like any DJ. But bottom line I SOUND... LIKE ME! EJthaDJ and none other! No one ever plays exactly what I do, and I never play exactly what any other DJ will. Any good DJ should be like that!

I've been a DJ now for a little over 11 years in literally EVERY realm of the DJ industry. I've played mainly in CA. TX. MI. and now my home state of almost 3 years here in Minnesota. I'm starting to take on more and more out of state gigs, so that list is going to grow. Being a DJ for as long as I have, performing for so many, has been a real priviledge, and one of the coolest things anyone could ever hope to be. The styles & sounds of music that have and CAN play cover just about everything. Yes even hip hop, top 40, party mash up, etc. What I PREFER to play out however ranges from the Dirty, Funky, Synthed Up, Driving ELECTRO House sounds and Remixes, all the way up to the now occasional Big, Fast Driving, Melodic Lusciousness of TRANCE. I'm an electronica lover by trade.
But I play whatever the specific, event/party/nightclub calls for. I LITERALLY HAVE IT ALL!
I carry a wide range of everything with me at all times on my 250 Gig Hard Drive that is packed to the hilt with music, and have fun mixing up genres and droppin in a few surprises.

so I went to this party today in san francisco and it was like 15 differnt DJs through out the day... all house music... pretty neat!! and it for sure made me think of you with all the different djs and stuff!!
