In summer 1982 while clubbing at the garda lake area I was hit by the afro-funky-cosmic disco sound. 1983 i quit drumming in a band and started my DJ career at my hometown Innsbruck/Austria as resident at the legendary Galaxy Club. The music at the Galaxy was similar like the Cosmic and Typhoon Discotheque, a wildstyle mixture of: jazz, funk, fusion, german electronics, dub, spacy disco & brazilian stuff. At this time the tracks were not quantisized at all and the mixingconsole didnt have any gadgets, effects and equalizer like nowadays and mixing records was a real challenge.
For the sake of love I moved to Milano in the year 1987 and played in clubs around northern Italy. Back home at Innsbruck, end of the eighties, I became resident at the famous American Bar for some years. In this period I also started to play uptempo electronic dancemusic.
1993 I moved to south Germany to extend my musical playground. Hailing from Munich I..m hosting residencies around Europe to play my wide ranged dj sets, based on a nice and rare record collection.
Several times ago I started to produce my own music and released a lot of tracks and remixes for record labels like: Compost, Permanent Vacation, Jalapeno just to mention a few. The 12inch "Lago di Garda Experience" (compost rec.) came 2006 straight in reference to my musical roots. it's Afro Funky Cosmic sound. as like my new single: "Road to Gambara" on innvision records
Together with Ed Royal I produced many tracks for austrians leading funk & breakes label "Innvision-Records", furthermore remixes for Kid Loco, All Good Funk Alliance, Michael DeVellis K-Bonus, Soulphonic-Sound-System and many many more. Our music was licenced by: 18th Street Lounge Music, Brazilectro, Big City Beats, BMW, Acid Jazz Italia, MGM..... The releases continue to appear in the German club charts and feature in the record collections of well known dj mates Makossa (FM4 Radio, Austria), Rob Birch (Stereo MC..s), B.Loda (Typhoon) D.Baldelli (Cosmic), ....
The own first full-length album "the groove collage" with ed royal has been released in March 2007 and it shows my funky roots. Still producing new tracks in different styles and shades of music. 2009 will be released remixes for: mo horizon (agogo rec.), drrtyhaze & sunharbour (tirk rec) and new enne tracks on nang & sensei rec uk. I..m working on my new Album that will show my electronic and disco influences.
