Nacido en el Corazón de Colombia y con la sangre latina corriendo por sus venas, Luis Erax Barrera se involucra en el mundo de la música desde temprana edad.
A sus 14 años empieza a desempeñarse como dj y poco tiempo después en la realización de sus primeros remixes, en los cuales comienza a plasmar todo su potencial creativo.
Pero es hasta el año 2004 en que Erax se integra como remixer oficial de MUSICAREMIX.COM, la comunidad latina de djs y productores más importante alrededor del mundo, compartiendo su talento mes tras mes.
Para el año 2005, Erax perfecciona sus técnicas, produciendo variados géneros y haciendo de ellos todo un éxito. Y es en el año 2006 en el que MUSICAREMIX.COM lo cataloga como DJ/PRODUCER del año, dando pie a uno de sus proyectos más importantes, “ ULTRA REMIX ”, en colaboración de otros productores importantes.
En el 2007 Erax continuo posicionandose en el gusto del publico latino con la creacion y produccion de más de 25 remixes. Es en este mismo año que mantiene su título por segunda vez consecutiva como mejor Dj/Producer del año. Además, participa en proyectos como ULTRA REMIX vol 2 y junto con Oliver Kano en su fusión llamada: TOO MONKEYS. Estos dos ultimos proyectos parecen ser de los mas importantes y con continuidad para el 2008.
Para este 2008, EraX ya ha concretado proyectos importantes y sus remixes continuan siendo tocados a nivel internacional en clubs y estaciones de radio consolidandolo como uno de los mejores. Además, Erax se enfoca en presentar nuevas propuestas musicales, apostando a los nuevos talentos latinos y es así que junto a Suleyma realizo la produccion y dirección de los remixes de el tema "ya se acabo"; el cual ha sido un exito total. Actualmente Erax se encuentra trabajando en uno de los proyectos mas ambiciosos y con mas alcance a nivel internacional: ULTRA REMIX vol. 3.
Rompiendo las barreras de los generos musicales DJ ERAX es capaz de crear, transformar y proponer tracks cargados de Energia, Ritmo y Poder.
La esencia latina traspasa las fronteras a través de la música de DJ ERAX.

Born in Colombia's Heart and with latin blood running through his veins Luis Erax Barrera had been involved in the music world since an early age.
At the age of 14, he made his first gigs At the age of 14, he made his first gigs and after a while he carried out his first remixes as well. Here, he began to engrave all his creative potential.
However, it is until 2004 when he takes part of Musica Remix (the biggest and most important latin community of dj's and producers all over the world) as an official Dj producing great remixes every month.
To 2005 Erax improved his techniques by producing a lot of genres and doing them a total sucess. And it is in 2006 when Musica RemiX named EraX as: "Dj/Producer of the year"; Moreover, he began one the most important projects in colaboration with other important producers called "ULTRA REMIX".
In 2007, EraX went on to become one of the favorite Djs for latin people with the creation and production of more than 25 remixes. It is in the same year that he got the title DJ/Producer of the year for second time. Besides, he participated in projects like: ULTRA REMIX vol. 2 and with Oliver KAno in their fussion called: "TOO MONKEYS".These last project seems to be the most important thing and with continuty for 2008.
By 2008 EraX had achieved some major projects and his remixes had been played at an international level. At Clubs and Radio Stations showing him as one of the best Dj/producers. Besides Erax had focused in show new musical propositions by betting new latin talents like Suleyma. Thus, he produced and directed Suleyma's remixes of the song "ya se acabo" the one who has been a total sucess. Nowadays, Erax is working in one of the most ambicious projects: ULTRA REMIX vol. 3
Breaking the walls of musical genres DJ ERAX is able to create, to transform and to propose tracks laden with energy, rhythm and power.
The latin essence goes beyond frontiers with DJ ERAX's Music.
