About me:
Born and Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I moved to Las Vegas when i turned 21 and never looked back. I have been working in the Las Vegas Nightlife Scene for 10 years and am still going strong. The most important thing to me is my Family i wouldn't be where im at or who i am as a man today without them.
Who I'd like to meet: Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dj Eric Forbes started at the young age of 18 spinning records in a friend’s garage. Forbes first learned his skill by playing Hip-Hop and Old School. After finding his passion for music, Forbes started buying his own records and expanded his genre of music into House and Break beats. Forbes gained notoriety spinning for friends at local parties around town.
Almost immediately, DJ Eric Forbes catapulted into the huge, rapidly growing Rave scene, which was taking shape in the Bay Area in the early 90’s. Forbes soon was playing to capacity crowds in nightclubs and huge underground venues in Oakland, San Francisco and Sacramento. At the age of 21, Forbes moved to Las Vegas to further his musical career. In no time Forbes was spinning at numerous hotspots around Las Vegas -- gaining further success! Forbes visibility garnered him out of town openings on a weekly basis for superstar Dj’s at that time like Richard Humpty, Vision, Dj Keoki and Dj Dan to name just a few. In June of 98’, Forbes landed a job behind the bar at Studio 54 inside the MGM Grand. His hard-work ethic and personality grabbed the attention of some key people who were influential in the beginning of Night Life in Las Vegas. After letting them hear his mix tape, Forbes then played the very first Tuesday night promotion called E.D.E.N inside Studio 54, that was Las Vegas’ very first Industry night for locals – setting the trend for all nightclubs to follow.
Dj Eric Forbes is now known for commanding big room dance floors with his high-energy format and clean mixes - ranging from Hip-Hop to Rock and everything in between. Forbes is sure to have them coming back the next night for more.
DJ Eric Forbes currently holds numerous residencies on the Las Vegas Strip such as Studio 54,Tabu, Ultra Lounge, Empire Ballroom and Cherry Nightclub. Dj Eric Forbes is a solid name in the industry, around for well over a decade, proving on a nightly basis he is here to stay!
