DJ Eve grew up in Texas, living in Houston and Austin for most of her time there. She began college at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas in Denton just north of Dallas. She studied history and mathematics, but clearly that wasn't her passion. Eve has found music. It all started with her dad playing old acid rock songs from the 60's on the antique record player that was in the house. Many of those old records have had a huge influence in her selections today. Music has been a major part of her life ever since, and now she is making her way through life as one of biggest female DJ's in the midwest. She also has begun small work producing as well as creating vocals for many local artists in Minneapolis.
DJ Eve has performed at many of the clubs around town including The Lounge every other Friday and Saturday and Club Underground every Tuesday night. She has also made appearances at Envy Nightclub, Foundation, Aqua, and Barfly to name a few. She has also made appearances in Canada, Texas, Illinois, and North and South Dakota. She currently throws her own shows and works with UnCensoredUs as a promoter/DJ.
In 2007, DJ Eve made about 300 appearances across the midwest and has been nominated for Twin Cities Dj of the Year. She was voted Twin Cities DJ of the month in April 2007 and as a featured artist on the local radio station 89.3 The Current. 2008 is looking to be a great year with many upcoming shows already, including a few unannounced shows that will be huge. If you are interested in booking DJ Eve please contact her right here via myspace.
