Fakir is one of formers of underground, clubscene in Serbia. He got interested in DISCO Music in the beginning of 1980’s and started Djing from collecting those days’ hits.
The biggest influence to his work in that period had Patrick Cowley, Giorgio Moroder, as many funky performers had so: Chic, Gap Band, Shalamar…
In the end of ‘80s he discovered “Detroit Wave” and Chicago House, followed by Acid-House in starting years of ‘90s. As one of pioneers of new musicwave he started to organize first of private underground parties and it was no long after, he (and DJ Z) became resident performer at two of cultish clubs in Serbia – clubs Contrast and Paradiso. In that period two of them formed a studio and it was birth of one of the first DJ organizations in Serbia – Noise Destruction. In January of 1994 Noise Destruction organized the first big music happening– TECHNO THERAPY at Ice Hall, party which many people remembered by to-that-day-unseen scene performance, LIVE act, Sound sistem and a huge number of visitors. March of 1994 is announced for showing Noise Destruction to Belgrade public at the new-opened club Industrija, and right in that period Fakir and DJ Z started performing all across the Serbia, as in neighbour-countries. Aside to DJing and studio-related work, Fakir and Z started a certain number of radio shows, as right after they started a legendary TV show dedicated to clubscene and culture – RAVE-o-LUTION on national TV. In his 20 years-lasting DJ career Fakir had opportunity to show many DJs to domestic public, which he entertained and worked with.
He also was resident DJ of EXIT festival from its birth. Cooperation with EXIT organization gave him opportunity to play for 20.000 people on DJ Arena Stage, but also it gave him opportunity to make new friends among some of the most famous world DJs, such as: Daren Emerson, Sasha, Yuseef, Lottie, King Unique, Lexicon Avenue, Layo & Bushwacka, Marshall Jafferson… as to the other DJs, who he have played with all across the Serbia : Tom Blacksoul,Kevin Yost,Lorca,Luke Solomon,Tribalation,Eddie Richards,Gideon Jackson Terry Francis, Dave Mothersole, H-Foundation, Tony Thomas, Jay Tripwire. He have played at all big parties and festivals in Serbia, which means-beside of EXIT and Pleasures (warm up Hernan Cattaneo, Mathey Dekay i Paul Oakenfold )- Marlboro (with Xpress 2, Groove Armada,Joey Negro,Todd Terry,djHal) etc.
Today, Fakir’s “maraton” DJ sets (sometimes up to 12 hours) became significant with deephouse, energical note of Terry Lee Brown Jr., The Timewriter etc.
For sure- Fakir is today one of the most respected Serbian DJs with rich music bank, but also with enormous experience which he have delivered to many young DJs for many years. Production-related work of Noise Destruction Studio is shown in tracks Disco Family EP, Skunk EP, Some Kind of Funk – which are published by Neuform – sublabel of big Breeze Dance Division. At the moment, Fakir is resident DJ of Novi Sad’s club “The Avantgarde”. In the next period we can expect some new tracks from Noise Destruction Studio, and Fakir’s DJ sets at the most eminent music events.

Fakir je jedan od osnivaca klubske scene u Srbiji. On se zainteresovao za DISCO muziku i Dj-ing pocetkom 80-tih i poceo da skuplja hitove iz tog vremena.Najveci utisak na njegov rad u tom periodu ostavili su Patrick Cowley, Giorgio Moroder, kao i veliki broj funky izvodjaca poput:Chic,Gap Band,Shalamar......
Krajem 80-tih otkrio je "Detroit Wave" i Chicago House,koji je pocetkom 90-tih bio pracen Acid Hous-om.Kao jedan od pionira novog muzickog pravca poceo je da organizuje privatne underground zurke i nije proslo mnogo nakon sto su DJ Z i on poceli da rade kao rezident DJ-ejevi u dva najkultnija kluba u Srbiji: Paradizo i Contrast.
Nakon stvaranja sopstvenog studija-dolazi i do osnivanja prve DJ organizacije u Srbiji-Noise Destruction.U Januaru 1994. godine Nose Destruction organizuje veliki muzicku happening-TECHNO THERAPY koji je odrzan u Ledenoj Dvorani Spensa i predstavlja prvi put vidjen preformans ikada na ovim prostorima,pracen LIVE act-om,Sound sistemom i ogromnim brojem posetilaca.
Od Marta 1994.godine i otvaranja novog kluba "Industrija" Fakir i DJ Z pocinju da rade po citavoj Srbiji i susednim zemljama.Pored DJ-inga i rada u studiju,Fakir i Z zapocinju i nekoliko radio emisija kao i legendarnu Tv emisiju pod nazivom -RAVE-o-LUTION-.
U svojoj dvadestetogodisnjoj DJ karijeri Fakir je radio sa mnostvom stranih i domacih DJ-ejva. Od samog osnivanja EXIT-a DJ Fakir bio je njegov sastavni deo i imao je priliku da svira pred 20.000 ljudi na DJ Areni. DJ karijera omogucila mu je i poznanstva sa:Daren Emerson, Sasha, Yuseef, Lottie, King Unique, Lexicon Avenue, Layo & Bushwacka, Marshall Jafferson… i mnogim drugima sa kojima je svirao po citavoj Srbiji,kao sto su: Tom Blacksoul,Kevin Yost,Lorca,Luke Solomon,Tribalation,Eddie Richards,Gideon Jackson Terry Francis, Dave Mothersole, H-Foundation, Tony Thomas, Jay Tripwire.
Fakir je svirao na svim vecim festivalima u zamlji,koji pored EXIT-a podrazumevaju

Zasigurno DJ Fakir je jedan od najcenjenijih srpskih DJ-ejeva sa bogatim muzickim asortimanom i neverovatnim iskustvom koji rado deli mladjim populacijom DJ-ejeva.
