About FACEBOOK ME.. TYPE IN FatMan-P IN UR FB SEARCH!!!
My name is Pritam known to many people as FatMan-P. I was born in India on 27th September as the first born in my family. When I was a one year old, my parents moved to the UK and settled down in East London. With my Indian background I always had a passion for music. I guess it’s just in my blood. As a youngster I was more influenced by my Asian, Indian routes as Bollywood music was my favourite. The first instrument I learnt how to play is the tabla. I guess from then on I just wanted to develop my music and experiment with different things. Growing up in East London, I began hearing all sorts of music people play. From Hip Hop, RnB to Reggae and Bashment. The diverse sounds intrigued me and I thought to myself, ‘I must be involved in this music one way or another’. At the age of 16 at college I met a great guy and who is now my best friend named Tamim Choudhury. He was known as Tai b2t (Born 2 Thrill). He opened up pathways for me as he was a really good rapper. He too loved my passion for music and both of us thought, ‘hey, why not become a team’. So we did just that and now we are currently working on an album which we feel will be something people will definitely love and be able to relate to. I now feel my music is diverse and I’m willing to work with any genre of music and with any type of singer or rapper. I specialise in hip hop, RnB and Bollywood but sometimes I am willing to change it up a bit for people. That is one of the reasons I love music, I love making people happy. I completed a Bollywood remix album at the end of 2007, which was promoted online from the 9th of November 2007 titled, ’BSOB (Back Streets Of Bollywood) Da Underground Riddim’, which was a underground version to the previous Streets of Bollywood series. Because of my BSOB album, I received a lot of positive feedback from all over the UK. I have been asked to make more Bollywood remixes, and I will in the near future. I do not consider myself to be a producer that only makes Asian music. I see myself as a versatile producer who makes good music in any genre. I just hope my fans will continue supporting me all the way because without them I wouldn’t find the inspiration to aim for making it in the mainstream music scene.
