Federico Giust

Bio:

.. Born in Punta del Este, Uruguay and now based in London. He started his music career as a producer in the year 2003 and since then his reputation has been growing as a Tech House and Progressive dj and producer, getting support from djs like Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Chloe Harris, Miss Nine, Darin Epsilon and more.

His tracks have a mixture of Tech, Progressive and some Techno elements never missing the tribal and southamerican influences in his beats. He had signed tracks and remixes with Polytechnic Recordings, JetLag Digital, Area Sur Records, Adjust Recordings, Minimo Records, Ascension Recordings, Pild Records, Helvetica Noir, Beef Records, Resurgent and Distraekt Records and the list keeps growing. Since 2007 he’s been running his own digital imprint called Quimika Records with more than 30 releases out on all major digital stores. Also had some tracks featured on CD compilations for PMB Music (Ar), Beef Records (Au) and Pild Records (Uy). Some of his tracks had been played and charted by Hernan Cattaneo on his radio show "Resident from London". And they're also supported and played by dj's like: Anthony Pappa, Tarkan, Brisker & Magitman, Chloe Harris, Miss Nine, Darin Epsilon, Jalebee Cartel, Logiztik Sounds, Federico Epis and more.

He had played at some of the best clubs in Uruguay, Argentina and Australia. Playing at clubs like Key (Uy) (Leading Underground Club in Uruguay where he was resident dj in 2007 and 2008), W. Lounge (Uy), Kalu After Club (Uy), Sonic (Uy), Aura Lounge (Au), Castles (Au), El Dorado (Ar), Jacko’s (Ar). As well as many big dance events in Uruguay like Creamfields Punta del Este 2008, Open Park, Springlove and Key Conference. Where he shared booth with djs like: Pole Folder (Be), Kamisshake (Uk), Marcos Paz (Ar), Valentino Kanzyani (Slo), Marko Nastic (Ser), Dj Dorian (Cl), Marcelo Castelli (Uy), Dj Gabo (Br), Spitfire (Ar), Miguel Silver (Ar), Dj Corrie (Uk), JP Sgalia (Ar), Rocha & Lewinger (Uy), Marcelo Castelli (Uy), Fernado Picon (Uy), Dj Koolt (Uy), Logiztik Sounds (Uy), Federico Epis (Uy), Javier Misa (Uy), Punta Libre (Uy), Franco Bianco (Ar) and many more.

His unique sound gave him the opportunity to be invited to some of the most important online stations like: Eccentric Beats, Frisky Radio, Proton Radio, Digitally Imported, Justmusic.fm and Mercury Sessions to name a few, as well as some radio stations from different parts of the world like Urbana FM (Uy), Ksk Radio (Ar), Capital FM (Lv) and Prolejtas FM (Lt). Nowadays he hosts a monthly show on Frisky Radio called Quimika Sessions every first Monday of the month.
