Thanks for visiting the myspace of DJ Frankie Francis. I am a DJ/producer/Promoter and dubplate mastering engineer at The Carvery. I am passionate about viny records and heavy percussive music new and old. I specialize in tough afro/latin & caribbean music both new and old as well as the odd house, disco, funk & boogie joint thrown in for good measure.
My two main DJ residencies are; SOFRITO which is the holy grail of tropical club nights, where we specialize in creating killer warehouse parties in and around London's Dalston area check www.sofrito.co.uk . The other is at London's finest music crossover night FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Famous worldwide for being the musical linchpin of the clubbing world.

Kaleta & Akoya Afrobeat The Spirit Of Fela Is Alive & Well Mukatsuku Records 4/5 An explosive slice of Afrobeat from Kaleta gets the licensing thumbs up from Mukatsuku, who finally get this gem to the Fela faithful. Originally clocking in at over 14 minutes, its been chopped virtually in half to add more punch and immediacy, whilst on the flip Guynamite and label boss Nik Weston add a more contemporary boogie house twist to the original, in doing so losing none of the vitality or the 'Fela' essence.
