Since I'm a dj ,music is my first love.I spend a lot of time mixing records.I go out to clubs but not as much as I used to unless I'm playing or promoting a cd or record of mine. Besides music related interests I enjoy going to museums such as the MET, MOMA, Guggenheim or Natural History.I like doing outside activities when it's nice out such as playing basketball and playing mini-golf in Coney Island.I enjoy going to the beach and park to chill. In particular the protected marshlands a few blocks from my house and going rowboating in Central Park. Both are very peaceful and relaxing.Other than that I enjoy just hanging in my crib with a good movie or tv show and my bong.I love to travel the world and I hope to do it much more!!!!!!!
These are some things I am very interested in.If I could I would spend most of my time on a few of these!!!!

FTL has been representing the Hip-Hop movement since he was a little kid living in Brooklyn. In his early days, his form of expression was through break-dance and collecting music. His knowledge of a wide variety of music showed in his collection, but what showed the most was his loyalty and passion for true HIP-HOP lifestyle and music. It would eventually lead him to get off the dance-floor and to get behind the "wheels of steel" himself. There he easily showed NEW YORK CITY that he can DJ a party better than most.
FTL has been organizing and deejaying many of his own events throughout the New York tri-state area for the past several years. He has played at numerous venues with his well known dj crew,Digital Konfusion, that consists of djs Odi,I-Cue, Odyssey,Joe-Joe and Vandal.Along with his crew
he's played at parties with djs such as Afrika Bambaataa, Marley Marl,Teddy Ted,Special K,Spinna,Hype,Danny the Wildchild,A Guy Called Gerald,Soul Slinger,Dmitry from Deee-Lite,Sameer,Joeski,Reid Speed, Mathematics, Andi Hanley,J-Live, IXL,LS-One,Fifth Platoon and many more
hip-hop,house and drum&bass djs.By playing with such a variety of djs that play totally different styles,he has proven to many people that he can mix hip-hop with the best mixing djs in other genres and hold his own.He is very often the only hip-hop dj on the line up full of house or drum&bass djs. When it comes to mixing any style of music,FTL shows he is one of the best around.
FTL has also been working in the studio as well. His debut production single "The Antidote" featuring AKBAR(formerly of Illbogie records) on DIGITAL KONFUSION RECORDS, has become a true underground favorite and it's been played in parties from New York, to Berlin, to London, to Paris to LA and back.It shows that his level of skill in production matches his skill in rocking a club.He has also done a few shows as Akbars dj where he gets to do a whole new side of the dj world as a show dj.
FTL has also played overseas in Europe. He traveled with the Rane mixer champion dj IXL and underground mc Poison Pen from the Stronghold crew.Together the three of them performed at a big show in Budapest Hungary where he also was the show dj for Poison Pen.They also did a few radio
shows while they were out there.FTL went on to travel throughout Austria with dj Joe-Joe of FM4 out of Vienna Austria.Together they also kept quite a few parties going all night long throughout Austria and the Alps. The Digital Konfusion Mixshow on FM4 broadcasts from Vienna Austria and continues to play mixes from FTL to expose numerous people to the mixes throughout the five countries in Europe it broadcasts to.As well as it's worldwide online listeners.Recently FTL has been deejaying for the Methods NYC clothing line.He deejayed for the 2007 Fall Release and 2008 Spring Release parties as well as for the Flagship Store Opening party. Some of the talent that performed for those events were Afrika Bambaataa,DJ Hype, Jeru The Damaja,Sadat X,Group Home,Heltah Skeltah,Keith Murray and many more.
FTL's credibility for Hip-hop in the New York club scene and music industry, has put him in the position of working with some of the best underground MCs in the studio and deejaying some of the hottest events.Whether it is a local hip-hop night, industry event, clothing release party, open
mic,all house event or a drum&bass party,FTL knows what it takes to get the party live and get people on the dance floor.Be on the look out for even more to come from FTL.
