En la misma ciudad inverosímil, regadas por las mismas autopistas, cobijadas por la misma sociedad indiferente, habitan dos realidades antagónicas. Insultantes ambas, y desgraciadamente complementarias. Cada escena tiene un contrapunto en la misma ciudad a unos pocos kilómetros, en algunos casos a simples metros de distancia. El color se contrapone al gris, el lujo a la miseria, la playa al asfalto, la mirada exultante a la mirada humilde (y ésta a la ausencia de mirada), las palmeras a las rejas, la luz a la penumbra, el enfoque al desenfoque...
Si crees que las imágenes que definen Los Ángeles son los descapotables, los vigilantes de la playa, las estrellas de Hollywood, el cielo azul intenso o las tiendas de lujo, piénsalo dos veces.
