» This all started off by accident. I was working in an electronics store in Birmngham & listening to Choice FM in 1997, now Galaxy. When someone came in & messed with the radio & switched the station over to some Drum n Bass station I'd never heard of. At first the plan was to switch it back when they'd gone but I found myself staying locked in & gettin my head around the music. The station turned out to be Kool FM Midlands.
» After listening solid for a good 12 months I hit my first rave, Music First at the Que Club. It was around half 1 & DJ Die was playin, Clear Skies dropped & from the upper balcony the view as the whole place went wild at the drop was as if a wave was washing across the dance floor. That single experience made me snap & decide I was gonna be a DJ.
» Within 5 months of getting decks & mixing for the first time, demo tapes were being sent to Kool FM for a slot & after a year, I dropped my first show on Kool FM Midlands on 24th December 1999.
» It was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Kool FM Midlands is sadly no longer with us but you can catch me every week on UK Bass Radio.
