I dunno, too many to mention. Here's a few in roughly chronological order: Elvis/Scotty Moore, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, The Misfits, pretty much any 80's metal band you can name, Guns n Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Children of Bodom
Not much to tell really. I was born in Denver, spent a few years on the east coast going to college, been back in Denver ever since. I currently play guitar and sing a little bit in The Bad Directions as well as write and record stuff for tv, film, and music library opportunities.
I currently have one song in a music library over in England. As I understand it, if I can duplicate that feat a few dozen times, I might eventually earn enough money to afford the name brand paper towel at the supermarket.
As for the tracks above, they're just a collection of different things I've recorded for the above mentioned opportunities, for the Bad Directions, or for my own personal edification, so stylistically they're all over the place. I'll probably put up new stuff from time to time, so keep an eye on the bulletin page if you're interested.
P.S. - Vote for our sorry asses. We've been nominated for Westwords Music Showcase as Denver's best "Roots / Americana" band. Go to http://westword. com/polls/musicpoll/ to cast your ballot.
In a rare moment of self publicity, I thought I'd let everyone know that Three Miles West returns to the stage Jan 19th, 9pm @ The Walnut Room.
We'll be sharing the stage with A Band Named Sue & The Hollyfelds
Apart from appearing onstage with Bob Walkenhorst awhile back, this is the first time I've been onstage in 18months, so I'm sure something will get broken and destroyed.
If you are in Denver on the 19th, come out! http://www.thewalnutroom.com they've got great pizza and the sound is good....
