Dj Hustler began his music career spinning Trance/ Hard Trance/ Hard Style (i.e. Red Alert, Gas Labels). He was that keen on this genre that he wanted to push it further and enrolled on a music course at Manchester Midi School, his journey began from there. After successfully completing the course at distinction level he came away from the course confident and bursting with ideas.
His influences are Rascal, Alan Wilson and Thilo and Evanti and has a big interest in Dutch Dj's, as most of his Hardstyle sound is mainly comes from the Dutch and Italians as within his sound you will influence's from the likes of producers like Technoboy, and with The Hustler he is always pushing and supporting some of the new UK Hardstyle producers pushing through.
Away from dj-ing its self He started his own Promotion night in Southport called Tuff Beats, and as the night was a instant a success he quickly made the decision that this was one the route he would like to take in his dj career. Not content with Promoting just one club night Hustler found time in his hectic dj schedule to start what would be his most succesful venture a night in Preston, called Rotation were he played along side the likes of Mark E G, Rascal, Alan Wilson, Nick the Kidd and many more. His dj'in skills and promotional work landed him a residency at Know Fear, Manchester and now through the constant success he is now working for Goodgreef running and playing the Official Goodgreef after parties at Ignition in Preston which have been another instant hit with clubbers in the northwest and just proves thats its not only does he possess the outstanding skills of a dj but also understand and know what it takes to run his own Promotion club nights.
Through his gigs and endless promotional work for Rotation, he has helped pushed the Hardstyle scene across the UK. One of his biggest highlights was playing for the massive Goodgreef at Storm and also the legendary Vibealite were he has been mixing it with best dj's in the uk and europe including Dj Skull (Holland), M-Zone and Mark E G. Recently he has featured in a Hard Style/ Hardcore magazine called Core where he reviews nights and featured in the new talent to look out for. He has been lucky enough to travel to Holland to learn and show his networking skills to gain more experience with Rascal and Alan Wilson to get a feel and gain valuble knowledge in the studio with the likes of Thilo and Evanti (straight on records) and get a taste of the club scene in Holland. He has been producing new Hardstyle in the studio with Dj Rascal and Chris Sutton and has been getting exceptional reactions and feed back when airing the new material at his gigs.
one major highlight of hustlers career was too be awarded " New Breed" winner at club Time, Sanxion in Derby, this was no mean feat as the competition housed some of the best uk up and coming talent there was, but once again hustler showed him self to be a class apart and proved him self to be a worthy winner of this tough fought contest.
As time has gone by The hustler has become one of the most consistant djs on the hardstyle scene right now, constantly playing high energy sets that consist of tight semaless mixing, and with his slick smooth technical ability has gone on to become one the most sort after djs in the scene today.
With his constant and tireless hard work 2009 is set to be the hustler break through year which will show the uk what a talent he is.
Some of the nights he The Hustler has played, supports and promotes include : KNOW FEAR (Resident), SPECIES, BINARY, FREQUENCY, AUDIO PORN, TUFF BEATS, VIBEALITE, GOODGREEF , STORM, GENETIC, ROTATION (Resident & Promoter), DANCE FACTORY, REVIVE, SANXION AND V.L.U.VS SESH, XZILIRA8, TRANCEFUSION, ZION.
