IM INFLUENCE BY A LOT OF PEOPLE. WHEN I FIRST GOT INTO DJING I MIXED MAINLY HOUSE MUSIC AND WAS GREATLY INFLUENCED BY JAZZY JIM OF 94.9 KYLD AFTER SEEING HIM MIX LIVE CINCO DE MAYO IN SAN JOSE. AS I DJ'D MORE AND MORE HOUSE PARTYS I RECIEVED A LOT OF REQUESTS FOR HIP HOP AND NATURALLY ONLY MIXING HOUSE I DIDNT HAVE ANY HIP HOP MUSIC. SO I DID MY FIRST COUPLE OF BIG GIGS WITH ONLY 3 HIP HOP RECORDS. REALIZING THAT I HAD TO TAME A TOTTALY DIFFERENT BEAST I LOOKED INTO THE SCENE A BIT MORE. LIKE A YOUNG CHILD WITHOUT A FATHER I LOOKED UP TO THE FIRST HIP HOP DJ I COULD RESEARCH AND LEARN FROM VIA INTERNET: DJ QBERT AND MIX MASTER MIKE. (NOT REALLY MIXERS BUT THERE CHOICE OF MUSIC AND STYLE INFLUENCED MY MIXING EVEN TODAY) I NEVER REALLY PICKED UP ON TURNTABLISM, BUT I DO USE WHAT I CAN DO IN MY MIXES.
When I was a little kid my mom told me not to stare into the sun. So once when I was 6 I did. The doctors didnt know if my eyes would ever heal, I was terrified! Alone in that darkness. Slowly daylight crept in through the bandages and I can see, something else had changed inside of me!!
