turns out shes very busy with acrobatics and other forms of performance arts, so i wish her the best. we just played our first show last night at a little house party and it was well recepted. its very odd putting yourself out there and singing live, i had never done it before, only played guitar. but there will be more to come. i think were playing spaceland in october, ill keep you posted! wish i could make it out to redding but i dont have a car :(
hi djin,i haven't had a chance to talk with you since sky's mahasamadhi paranirvana.i felt really sad because he was doing so great in austin and it seemed like he had really found his niche in the music world.he had so much more to give and i know he left a number of unfinished projects that i hope will see the light of day.i heard you had a memorial for him here in shasta but i was not in town at the time.it came as a real shock because he did take good care of himself.i think he may have pushed it too hard by his devotion to performing every chance he got.funny i heard his voice in my head a few days ago at the river and it said "raise up your hands to sky for me dirk' and that is just what i did.i think he is still in shasta on some level.i will be in shasta until i go to power to the peaceful in sept. so i'll probably bump into you sometime.i like all the new tunes you have added here.really great stuff.see you soon. dirk
in december i saw you guys at slims. i couldnt help but notice the two girls dancing. i kept seeing one of them around and eventually decided to say hey to her. fast forward to now, were making music together and shes probably my musical soul mate. its kind of thanks to yahowa that we found each other! i just put up the new recording we did this weekend, hope you like it better than anything ive made by myself!
