A Miami native, Inga Ambrosia started producing music in 2004, right around the time she decided to become a DJ. Her inner voice told her to go out into the world, and find out how music affected people. Then, regroup and spin music that would inspire people in a positive way - carrying a message.
In 1992, Inga discovered ambient, drum and bass, minimal and world music by listening to mp3.com. She'd grown up listening to funk, psychedelic, gospel, motown, jazz, folk, classical and old school hip hop.
In 2000, Inga was going to clubs around Miami, listening to hard trance, rock, punk, industrial and house. DJ Ivano Bellini, a sunrise resident @ Club Space introduced her to the melodic after hours sound of progressive house and loungy house. On New Year's Eve 2002 - she was honored to hear Danny Tenaglia spin for the first time and fell in love with his tribal sound. After which she went to Scratch DJ Academy to learn how to mix and scratch.
Fast forward to 2008. She's been a DJ for four years now. Playing at clubs, bars, gyms, hotels, conscious events, retreats, vegan restaurants etc. Shortly after becoming a vegan, her musical taste buds changed. She was more attracted to the melodic tones and passive beats, rather than aggressive in your face high energy music. Ambient music is where her heart is. Now, she makes music that walks that fine line between dark and light, blending healing instruments w/dark beats - music with a conscience.
It was hard finding gigs because she didn't play popular music all night long, but she found her way into the conscious scene, where her ambient world music flavor was well-received.
A reporter named John Hood did a story on Inga Ambrosia in the {Miami New Times}. She sent him pages and pages of her bio, and he said, "Listen, when you come out with your first album, then I'll do a big story on you, for now I only have 400-500 words."
For years people have been asking for her CD, her music and she just shrugged her shoulders. It was the right time in her life.
In September, she started working on her album Abyssal Plane, and now she is at the finish line. It's a blend of Ambient, Trip Hop, Drones, Jazz and House. Peace and love ... Enjoy! <3

There are two days in every week that we should not worry about, two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One is yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed, forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. Nor can we erase a single word we've said - yesterday is gone!
The other day we shouldn't worry about is tomorrow, with its impossible adversaries, its burden, its hopeful promise and poor performance. Tomorrow is beyond our control.
Tomorrow's sun will rise either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds - but it will rise. And until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.
This leaves only one day - today. Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.
It is not the experience of today that drives people mad - it is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us, therefore, live one day at a time!
