Biography...
After his birth in Barcelona in the early 70s, Ino soon went to live in La Coruña. In 1984, he formed his first band named "Sexto Sentido", which years later would take the name "Black Moon Creepin" in honor of one of his musical heroes, The Black Crowes. In the mid- 90s, Ino's interest and knowledge of electronic music stemmed from the works of artists like Larry Heard, Lil Louis and St. Germain, whose first album "Boulevard" definitely marked Ino's sound as a DJ, and later as a producer.
In 1997, Ino started a series of parties called "House Cafe", establishing the beginning of the local House scene of La Coruña. With the electronic music scene just bubbling in La Coruna, Ino, and partner Grobas, opened "Telefunken" in 1999. Telefunken has been regarded and respected as one of the best venues for nightlife throughout all of Spain.
Over the years, Ino has performed in Spain at some of the most
important music festivals, all of which are known for showcasing the world's best talent, including Sonar in 2000 & 2004, Monegros Desert Festival in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007, MOVE New Media, and various others. Ino's music has also taken him around the world to major parties and clubs such as "Cielo", "Shelter" and "Turntables on the Hudson" in New York, "Club Red" in Washington, "Propaganda" in Moscow, "Cocoon" in Frankfurt, "Space" in Ibiza, as well as "Florida 135", "Row", "Deep" and "Weekend" in his native homeland of Spain.
As a result of his travels, Ino became a part of the famed New York DJ collective "Funky Soul Rebels" (FSR). Thereafter, due to his desire for another musical outlet, Ino started to produce. He ended up developing a record label in 2003 from which to promote his tracks and those of FSR. Inspired by the name of his popular "House Cafe" parties in La Coruna, Ino decided to name the new label "House Cafe Music". This marked a pivotal change in Ino's career from DJ to producer. Ino has truly showcased his wide array of talents in various EPs on House Cafe Music. He broke through with his first LP entitled "981 North" with remix support by House legend, Charles Webster, and close friends, Vincenzo and Motorcitysoul. To date, Ino has done EPs, tracks and remixes on some of the industry's best labels, such as Seasons Recordings (USA), Release Music (GER), Café Del Mar, Boavista Music, Justified Cause (ES), and most recently in Objektivity (USA).
In 2008, Ino started "Silent Djazz". Formed with leading jazz
musicians from his hometown in Galicia. Silent Djazz (S.D.) is a fusion of live organic Jazz and electronica with a touch of funk. With a release out on HCM and future projects already in the works, S.D. have already been showcased with Innerzone Orchestra, Kruder & Dorfmeister and LTJ Bukem at the first edition of the Festival MOVE NEW MEDIA.
