About IslaMan (Mystical Dub Selecta)

ISLAMAN(Marco) : PRODUCER & DUB SELECTA (MYSTICAL POWA), RHYTHM GUITARIST, KEYBOARD & DUB FX (ITAL GOOD VIBRATION & I-CIENT ROOTS)........ Comincia la sua esperienza musicale nel 2002 come chitarrista della reggae band LA'BROSTER, apprezzato gruppo casertano. Nel 2003, con gli stessi elementi della band, inizia uno nuovo percorso nel mondo dei sound system entrando a far parte dei Sativa Sound. Nel maggio 2006 fonda con Zion Rebel e Dub-Line il collettivo roots/dub MYSTICAL POWA. Il collettivo partecipa a diversi progetti (come SUB “sound uniti dal basso”) e session confrontandosi con vari dubbers campani e italiani sempre nello spirito di cooperazione e fratellanza. La selezione è varia e ricercata, spaziando dalle positive vibration del roots alla potenza del dub stepper. Cominciano anche le prime produzioni. La collaborazione con l'Mc londinese BROTHER CULTURE nel settembre 2007 ha portato i MYSTICAL POWA alla loro prima produzione discografica con il singolo "Urban Rebel", pubblicato su vinile 7inch e prodotta dalla giovane etichetta indipendente Mystical Records. Nel settembre 2008 entra a far parte, come tastierista & dubfx, nel gruppo roots casertano ITAL GOOD VIBRATION . Sempre nell'autunno 2008 fonda la band I-CIENT ROOTS. Attualmente studia per conseguire il diploma di qualifica professionale di "Tecnico del Suono" presso la scuola "Spazio Musica" di Pomigliano d'Arco e fa parte del Team di Audioengineers.it.
