Im Dj jaffa - This is my life in music. Started breakin' in 1982(my crew was called STREET). In 1985 I got my first set of turntables and locked myself away for a year to work on my DJ skills. In 1986 I did my first ever set (out side of my bedroom) outside Rudi's Doughnut stall in Queen st Cardiff. The next was a few Saturday afternoon jam's at Grassroots Youth Centre, between 1986/87. This was along side my crew at the time HARDROCK CONCEPT.

1987/88 we did a couple of gig's in the Ritzy nightclub Cardiff. The next move was for MC ERIC (Me1) and me to move to London to look for a record deal. We got a manager and recorded a demo and it wasn't long before we were signed to JIVE RECORDS (under the name JUST THE DUCE ). We did 2 track on a compilation called DEF REGGAE, one of the tracks was also on the last of the WORD compilations - WORD 4 along side TRIBE, SCHOOLY D and STEADY B etc.

In 1990 Our two year contract ran out and I moved back to Cardiff. In Cardiff I started working in a recording studio and also Dj..d and produced for local MC's.

In 1991 I worked with a community project in St mellons Cardiff called the UNDERDOGS, this was a Hip Hop youth project teaching kids to DJ, MC and Street Dance.

1996 alongside my group at the time, the SIONIS performed in Berlin and Stuttgart.

Between 1997 and 2000 I DJ'ed live and done session work for various group's and artists such as, TYSTION, MANCHILD, BENCH, THE SIMSONS(Yes Bart and the rest), IT'S JO and DANNY, VIBE TRIBE, JON REA, ME 1 and a few more I can't remember.

In 2001 I won the best Hip Hop DJ award at the WELSH MUSIC AWARDS, and along side my group at the time ERBAN POETS we won best Hip Hop group at the DIESEL U MUSIC awards. In this year I put out my fist solo album on ROUNDA RECORDS this featured tracks with ERBAN POETS, THAT I AM, BRONX RIVER DJ'S and MAC from Long Beach.

Between 2002 and 2003 I DJ'ed and produced for 2 more groups, GREEN GIANTS and KIDZ WITH TOYS, and also beat the British record for the longest ever DJ set, I managed to do 70 hours non stop and raised just over £1000 for Amnesty International.

In 2004 became part of a production team called THE KIDZ, managed by 365 artists we worked with KEISHA WHITE, 365, E DRO and worked in New York with KEN LEWIS (mix engineer to just blaze, kanye west ect).

Went solo again in 2008 started making links with new artists in the UK and USA (Big Up Green Giants, L Train and F.R.A.T. House).

Still doing session work (DJ and Production) with various groups and artists and club DJing every week.

On the Dj side of things I have DJ'ed at every major festival in the UK. Also I have DJ'ed in, Spain, Germany, Hong Kong and Belgium. OK that's me done.
