As if consistently banging out mix after mix for Afromentals wasn’t enough, DJ Jamad has also produced several other albums and mixtapes including Outskirts: The Unofficial Lost Outkast Remixes, AFROMATIC, and The Red Clay Experiment. Afromentals have also served as a platform to cross-promote photographers, illustrators, boutiques, and other artists and producers such as Nicolay, DJ Wreckineyez, Supa Dave West, Floyd The Locsmif, Miles Bonny, Amanda Diva, and Tiffany Paige. .... DJ Jamad produced 236 episodes of the “Afromentals Mixshow”, a long-standing weekly radio show which aired on Sunday nights from 8pm until 10pm EST on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Hip Hop Nation (Sirius 40/XM 67). Periodically, he presented Operation Hot Combs (OHC), a one-hour “guest takeover” that aired during the show. These special segments allowed artists, producers, and DJs an opportunity to guest host and promote their individual projects and talents while giving listeners a candid view of the featured entertainers and their personal musical interests. Along with over 4 years at Sirius, Jamad was also a featured guest DJ on BBC Radio’s 1xtra while touring Europe. .... On Sunday March 21, 2010, DJ Jamad made his return with a new edition of the Afromentals Mixshow entitled “FRO POWAH Hour”.
