"If anyone could be dubbed the godfather of Texas psy trance, it would have to be
James "Nobody" Meadows. As far back as the mid 90's, James has been pushing
the sound to the "mainstream" crowd. He was a founding member of the seminal
production company Astral Tribe, and their infameous full moon renegades.
Eventually, Astral Tribe joined forces with the production company that was to
prove exactly what psy could accomplish in Texas - Universal Mind Productions.
With the demise of UMP and Astral Tribe, James joined up with Mistical
Productions, and of course we're extremely happy to have him. Mr. Meadows can
work the decks like no other, taking the crowd extactly where they want to go,
exactly where they need to be. He mixes cutting edge new sounds alongside the
classics, seemlessly moving from vinyl to cd and back again. James is also
known for his genre-bending, and has a strong following not only among the psy scene, but the house crowd as well.

Thanks for your presence and friendship . I'm always surprised to find so little consideration for Parade Ground . As you know , the brothers were pioneers in the minimal, and EBM style together with Front 242 who invented the kind . They worked with Colin Newman/Wire, and have written and composed on two Front 242 albums . I would like the band to be recognized at its true value , as they remain an amazing band and live act absolutely essential in today's new style .
