Jeff has been collecting records for over 20 years, he is compelled to DJ, as his love for music he uncovers means that he has to share it with an audience.
Crate digging in the finest tradition of hip hop, jeff leaves no stone unturned in his search for unknown grooves, soul, disco, funk, boogie, jazz, house and sounds from all over the universe.
He started his DJ-ing career in 1986 - Southport, England, playing house, hip-hop, soul, funk and disco classics. Throughout the late 80's and early 90's, he established himself as one of Southport’s top DJ’s running his own successful weekly nights, being booked to play all over the North West.

Jeff developed his musical tastes by listening to radio shows like, 'T.C.O.B' with DJ's Mike Shaft, Greg Wilson and Chad Jackson & On The Wire' with Steve Barker & Pete Haigh, Plus weekly visit’s to ‘Cheverton Records (Liverpool), Spin Inn & Eastern Bloc (Manchester) buying vinyl. At the same time Jeff was a regular on the Northern clubbing scene at The Southport Weekender twice yearly, ‘Nude Nights’ @ the ‘Hacienda’ with Graeme Park & Mike Pickering, also the ‘Halfway House’ in Preston, Chorley with Richard Serling, a soulful mid-week affair, other clubs frequently attended, Shelly’s (Stoke) smile, Cream (Liverpool) Back To Basics (Leeds) and the infamous ‘Hardcore Uproar’ warehouse parties in Blackburn 1989-91, which he DJ'd @ on numerous occasions.
1996 - Jeff moved to London to focus on music production. He set up an Independent label called Flava' Records with Greg Ellis (1st release 'PHAT & LACED EP') After gaining vital studio experience and contacts networking within the industry, this lead to new projects, working with other labels & artist’s and finally gaining employment working in ‘Music Distribution’. He has worked for: Essential BMG – (UK Dance sales & Label Manager). Alliance Multi-Media, Director (UK & Export) and Sole Unlimited Distribution (UK/USA, Part of Dust Traxx Chicago)
1998 - success also took Jeff to the airwaves with a weekly fixture on gaialive (internet radio) playing upfront & underground dance music to the masses worldwide. That same year, Jeff was approached by the 'Vibe Bar', brick lane, and was offered a weekly residency after becoming very popular with the local crowds. He has held down a residency and promoted nights at the vibe bar for over 10 years, featuring numerous guest DJ's & Artist's such as:The London Posse, DJ A-Side, Jurassic 5, Simbad, Tony Vegas (Scratch Perverts) Huw & Cam (Mr.Bongo) Ed Pitt (Scenario Records) My Little Hommie (Blade) Free Young Radical (Jazzchess) D.I.Y, & Pete Gooding (Cafe Mambo) Simon Reid and Sarah Foote (Favouritizm) to name a few.
He has had the pleasure of Spinning at a wide range of venues in the UK and around the globe, The Bluenote', 'Ministry Of Sound', ‘Troubadour,’ 'The End', 333, 93 Feet East, The Dex Club, and the 'Southport Weekender' Vip room and official after party, alongside DJ’s like Kerri Chandler, Ron Trent, Halo, DJ Rahaan, Boo Williams............ International sets, have taken Jeff to New York, Germany, Spain, Tenerife, France, and Ireland through good friends & contacts made along the way. Jeff has also played at exclusive V.I.P. functions, corporate celebrity bashes, music industry after parties & fashion show's for Philip Salon & Tracey Emin and for Sony Computer Entertainment UK & Europe.
As a DJ, Jeff is very versatile. His strength lies in his musical knowledge, depth & programming. Jeff showcases a melting pot of house, cosmic disco, loft classic's, balearic, boogie, re-edits, funk, soul, jazz and hip-hop while keeping the show colorful, energetic and soulful. He can play early evening warm up's, to back room journey's through to peak time rockin’ dancefloors. His set's have been heard, witnessed and even more so, felt. His sounds fill the soul.
Jeff is equipped with over a decade of entertainment and music industry experience, a wealth of knowledge, and a good ear for a tune.
