"Frequently described as; the one to watch Jemmy is regarded as a rising star within the dance music scene. Respected by djs and clubbers alike hes earned his reputation as a; quality dj by his absolute refusal to play any thing other than cool underground house. As each year passes his reputation grows and his name is known by an ever increasing number of discerning clubbers.
Inspired at a young age by Sashas magical sets in the late 90s in Ibiza, Jemmy took it upon himself to become part of the house music scene.
Whilst other lads Jemmys age were listening to pop or cheesy bouncy house, he was listening to Global underground c.ds, old hacienda and Shellys tapes, a key part to Jemmys success at such a young age is that he was drawn to and learnt from the very best of dance music pioneers.
Just like all good djs he is just as comfortable playing cool laid-back house as he is playing filthy druggy house. Jemmy describes his musical style as cutting edge electronic house, always looking for new sounds or ways to structure or enhance d.j sets so things never go stale.
One of Jemmys first big gigs was playing the sunset session at legendary seafront bar Port, in Spain, were Pacha pre-parties took place.
He has had numerous residencies in clubs since then aswell as guest djing for other nights and nightclubs such as Tribal Session @ Sankeys in Manchester, Bedrock in London and Electric City in Dublin...
He has warmed up for and played alongside the likes of: Sasha, John Digweed, Derrick Carter, Danny Howells, Sander Kleinenberg, Desyn Massielo, Scarlett Etienne, Matthew Dear, Troy Pearce, Jimmy Van M, Guy Gerber, Ben Sims etc... the list goes on & on.
He has a residency and also helps run club 'Aztec.' 'Aztec' is one of Liverpools most well respected underground nights putting on djs and live acts such as: Orbital, Sander Kleinenberg, Infusion, James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo, James Holden, King Unique, Dj Rolando etc Hosting their nights in Cream Nation, The Masque Theatre, The Carling Academy and The Lemon Lounge. As well as djing at the night he now books; djs, venues and helps with promotion.
If that wasn't enough he was also a resident dj and helped organise 'Wrongdezvous,' which put on huge festival like events @ 'The Carling Academy', with acts and dj's such as; Derrick Carter, Matthew Dear, The Zutons, The Happy Mondays, Zane Lowe etc ...
During the day Jemmy works full-time @ world renowned 3beat, were he's a buyer and looks after all things tech house, sending out new music packages to the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Andy Cato, Anthony Pappa, Timo Maas & Danny Howells. Building up and networking with more and more contacts with each day.
Jemmy has plans of touring, studio work and huge nights to look forward to this year, so it looks like its going to be a busy one.
All of this and still only 22, its safe to say Jemmy has a bright future remember the name youll be hearing a lot more of it!"
